Mailbox Monday is kindly hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page . It's lots of fun to see what books are making it into readers' mailboxes. I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours. :)
This past week three books made their journey to Florida and landed in my mailbox. I received:
- Living the Vida Lola by Misa Ramirez~ Thanks to Free Book Friday blog contest
- The Local News by Miriam Gershow ~ Thanks to Shelf Awareness
- My Splendid Concubine won in a contest by Dar at Peeking Between the Pages ~ Thanks again, Dar!
- What books made the journey to your mailbox?
Didn't get a thing last week in my mailbox! I'm hoping that will change in the next few days. : )
ReplyDeleteThe local News looks good. I got three books as well. I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteOh, sounds like you got some good ones again! You'll have those reviewed in no time. You'll have to show me how you did the link in my comments page because I still can't get that to work. Help me Kaye!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of alot of people getting The Local News - enjoy!! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteYou got some pretty good books this past week. Can't wait to see your reviews. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteOh just lovely list, Kaye! I am a might jealous. My husband is sleeping or I would go peak at my new ones. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see someone won a book at Free Book Friday. I keep entering, but haven't won yet. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, Kathy, it surprised me too to win from Free BOok Friday but it was much appreciated. Such fun to get that e mail, "you are a winner" and not have it be from the Irish Lottery !!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the book win! I hope that I get The Local News soon. I requested it from Shelf Awareness quite a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteI've got *The Local News* waiting for me, and I got something from Dar, too (two somethings, actually!)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books :)
You're such a good teacher! My books are here
ReplyDeleteLet's see if it works!
I haven't heard of any of these but the titles sure do sound interesting! And seems like you've been pretty lucky in the contests recently!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my Mailbox!
Living the Vida Lola LOL. I like books with titles that are plays on words or phrases.
ReplyDeleteI've been really curious about My Splendid Concubine for quite a while!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Mailbox! ~ Wendi
I got The Local News too this week (as well as quite a pile of other books!). Happy reading!
