It's Tuesday... Where are you is hosted weekly by Raidergirl13. This week I am in Idaho just trying to mind my own business as a young librarian but . .
My slighty witchy grandmother has something else in mind.
Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should be Reading and asks you to :
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3. Share 2 "teaser"sentences also citing the title of the book and the author and in that way people can have great recommendations if they like the "teaser.
4. Please avoid spoilers!
This week's teaser comes from The Witch's Grave, by Shirley Damsgaard.
I sniffed the rising steam suspiciously. "What is it?" With Abby, one never knew what kind of concoction she'd made. She wasn't above slipping "a little something extra" into the tea if she thought it might help me sleep. And I wasn't so sure I wanted to sleep. With sleep, came dreams. What interesting and intriguing teaser did you come across lately?
I love Pudgy's new picture. So cute. Do you create those yourself?
ReplyDeleteI read the first book in this series recently and really enjoyed it. Was cute and funny and slightly off beat all things I love. I didnt realise the series was up to number 6 though!
I love Abby she is such a crack up and I see she is still up her tricks.
hmm intriguing teaser
ReplyDeleteTeaser was great --- new penguin pictures, PRICELESS!! What a great way to wake up on a Tuesday morning. I can now go to school with a smile and a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love a fuzzy, windblown Pudgy too! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a teaser! A witchy grandmother indeed - always meaning well!
I'm so glad y'all like Pudgy's pictures because I was beginning to think I was getting a little too nutty with this. He does amuse me, though. He will be back at the end of next week with his new summer look. Caspette, no, I don't create the pictures, I get them from an avatar site. The goofy comments are from me. Always happy to give you a few chuckles, Molly.
