Teaser Tuesday: The Teaberry Strangler by Laura Childs

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Miz B at Should be Reading and asks you to :
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page3 .
Share 2 "teaser"sentences also citing the title of the book and the author and in that way people can have great recommendations if they like the "teaser.
4. Please avoid spoilers!

This week's teaser is taken from The Teaberry Strangler by Laura Childs.

"With rain streaming in her eyes, the two figures apppeared more like ethereal blue-black shadows, dancing and twisting in some grotesque embrace. But as their dance turned even more macabre, one figure grasped the other by the neck, forcing the other to drop to it's knees. "

Doesn't this sound like the beginning of a fabulous mystery? Laura was kind enough to guest post here yesterday. She left a new recipe and she has agreed to giveaway 4 autographed hard cover copies of this book. If you would like to enter, please read the rules and leave a comment on the original post.

  49. This really sounds so cool. Wanted to comment back on a message you left on my page: I have never been a Kingsolver fan either. Bought many of her books because I heard great things about them but couldn't quite get into reading them. The Poisonwood Bible is being read and discussed on a B&N literature by women board this month. It helps me to stay motivated. And now that I am actually several chapters into the book I am finding it interesting. Very surprised. That is a good thing. I love mysteries and would love to chat with you more about your cozy mystery.
