I had to say "Aaawwww" when I saw those last two buds - they are gorgeous. You spring looks far more advanced than ours, but it's great to look at the buds and see what we have to look forward to.
this is a fun series for Wordless Wednesday. I really love the magnolia buds. it brings back memories from school. one of my teachers was named Mary, and in helping us to learn the different clues as to how to identify various trees, she'd repeatedly say "pink, fuzzy buds" in her southern drawl. it stuck in my head, and to this day I'm able to identify magnolia trees by their "pink, fuzzy buds". have a great day!
LOL! Those Magnolia buds remind me of when I lived in L.A. We lived off of "Magnolia Blvd." and, true to its name, it was lined with Magnolia trees. My oldest was about four years old and called the fallen, spent buds "tiger tails" (he got tigers and lions mixed up.) They really do end up looking like lion tails after they are done flowering!
Ha ha! I love the surprise of the ear buds! The rest of the photos inspire me to go outside and take some photos of the budding spring as well. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your visit and your comment. Have a lovely day!
