  15. Aren't they gorgeous? I so love crepe myrtles. I have three...two in the front yard, [pink like yours, and one lavender] One, I just planted a couple of years ago, called "Strawberries and Cream"....it's pretty too.

    Thing is, I must enjoy your blossoms for now, ours have only the buds so far.

  16. Is that a Crape Myrtle? Gorgeous! I've only seen them in garden magazines. Could be wrong about the name. Anyway, isn't it amazing how something so unattractive can become so beautiful with a little TLC? Thanks so much for commenting on my blog.

  19. Wow - that's a tree? I was going to ask the name but I see Kathy supplied crepe myrtle. I've never seen one before. It must be something that grows in the south. Beautiful. Isn't Mother Nature wonderful?

  20. Mine too. We cut ours back usually in March and amaze me each year with their beauty. I love your watermelon color, ours are white and look like giant topiaries every year. Thanks for your visit.

  23. I would have never guessed that the ugly duck was going to turn out to be a beautiful crepe myrtle swan! Crepe myrtles are one of my favorite trees. Gotta get me one, one of these day!
