I'd don't think I'd have anything edible with the gator would be interested other than body parts, and won't be feeding it mine! The Ibis is a really beatuiful bird!
I can imagine alligator feeding is a bad idea. The Ibis is beautiful. I've never seen one of those in person. I guess I'll have to travel a little further south.
I always find it so funny that when there is an alligator exhibit and people are feeding them, they are feeding them hotdogs. Not very many hotdogs in the wild, I wouldn't think!
I love the animals! So different than what we have here - deer, ducks, raccoons and woodchucks! And Cooter Pond Park in Podunk are great names. They sound like they should be in one of the cozy mysteries. :)
There's no way I'd feed an alligator, but I've seen lots of people do it in Hilton Head.
ReplyDeleteibis pretty.
ReplyDeletegator scary.
At Gatorland they have a lake, full of gators, at the end of a trail, with food you can buy...I threw some in..it was WAY scary.
Great shot.
ReplyDeleteThese are great shot Kaye -- who would try and feed an alligator?? LOL
ReplyDeleteAww such a cute little gator! haha! Good pictures! Happy WW!

Great shots! Maybe cute when he's little but I'd still keep my distance. The Ibis is pretty cool looking!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose the ibis over the gator any day, though I admit that the reptile show at Reptile Gardens (Rapid City, SD) was pretty interesting.

ReplyDeleteGreat photos! That ibis is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, who would want to feed the alligator. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteThey would not have to tell me twice to not feed them. I do not like these creatures.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen a picture of an ibis in awhile. Glad I saw that. Over in my part of the world, ibis is a small, usually useless fish :)
ReplyDeleteyes the egret is my fave'
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas for photos.... probably not feeding the alligators is for their protection against unsuitable food! Majestic ibis!
ReplyDeleteYes, the Ibis is more beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI always love the signs saying way too obvious things like "don't feed the alligators" Awesome!
ReplyDeletethe gator is sort of cute though!! Love the bird!

ReplyDeleteThe ibis is our favorite bird as my son went to the University of Miami. BTW, he's also a big fan of penguins.
