Saturday Snapshot: I'm clueless, what's your guess??


Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce of At Home with Books. Ten years ago for our 35th anniversary we went to Spain. Lovely trip! At one of our stops, we bought this hand tooled leather box mainly because I loved the image of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza on the cover. Inside is a set of 55 cards,( 4 suits and 3 jokers) and 5 dice. Each die has J, Q, K, 1 pip, 7 pips and 8 pips on them.

We have no clue what this card game is. No amount of internet search has come up with anything.

 Anybody have an idea??

    Like all the rest I am clueless, wouldn't it be funny if the card game was called "Clueless."

    The little box and the card holder are cute anyway.

    I lived in Spain for 3 years and don't remember any card games played with die. The leather box is beautiful!

    The whole set is beautiful! I would have bought it too. :)

    The mystery was bugging me as well so I did a search on Google. The dice seem to be Poker Dice (similar to card game) but I'm not sure if the cards are meant to go with the dice or if you just play poker using one or the other. I emailed you a link!

    When a French friend came to stay with us a few years ago, she brought a game similar to this. My daughter Grace will remember so I'll ask her when she gets back home tonight. Here's Mine

    It's Poker, You can either play with the Cards or if you just want a quick game you play with the Dice, This website will explain:
