Saturday Snapshot: Ooooo, a new baby!

Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce of At Home with Books. To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

Ooh, look at the new baby turtle TBG found out in the back yard.  I'm surprised he even saw him and so glad he didn't accidentally step on him. We've never seen one this small before. His head is so little, when he pulled it in, we couldn't even see it.  I wonder if his mommy knows he is roaming around by himself so far from home.

On another note, I just want to apologize for not visiting anyone this week. I had to have a squamous cell carcinoma removed from my left hand and was told not to move, twist, flex etc. It would have been impossible anyway as my hand was so swollen and the bandage was like a boxing glove. I tried to answer a couple of e mails and found typing with one hand very tedious so just behaved myself and did what the Dr. told me to do - nothing. Still icing it but at least now I can bend my fingers and almost see my knuckles. I won't promise to catch up because I've been this route before and know it just won't happen. Hopefully this week, I'll be back to visiting.

Kaye, so sorry about your hand. Those skin cancer things are so tiresome. I've had a few myself on my scalp and face. Take care!
