A while back I read A Thousand Bones by this author and really liked it. When I saw this is coming out in February, I had to put it on "THE LIST".
Paperback, 416 pages
Expected publication: February 26th 2013 by Pocket Books
When the island’s inexperienced police chief asks for Louis’s help on what turns out to be a stone cold case, he reluctantly agrees. His reluctance only grows when he discovers the state investigator is Norm Rafsky, who had worked with Louis’s girlfriend Joe Frye fifteen years ago. When Joe returns to the island to help, she and Louis must confront the simmering tension between her and Rafsky, and yet stay focused on finding a dangerous killer who may still be in the area….
Sounds like a good thriller, set in a location I've visited a couple of times!

DeleteOoh, my favorite kind of mystery....one that seems to combine family and relationships with suspense. Thanks for sharing.

This is a team of two writers if I remember right and I have heard good things about their writing. I may have to try one of their books one of these days. Good pick Kaye!
