Saturday Snapshot
Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce of At Home with Books. To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.
This past week we vacationed in Banner Elk, NC. Fall had definitely arrived and everywhere was decorated nicely to welcome the season.
Pumpkins, squash and corn. Oh my!
Some of the trees were still beautiful but some of them had already lost their leaves. I guess we were a week too late to see the peak but still it was a treat to us since we do not get to see any foliage in FL.
TBG loved this "big guy" in downtown Banner Elk. I think he took 3 or 4 shots but we liked this one the best.

Wow, the leaves are really just getting into the gorgeous colors here. I guess the difference in elevation makes a huge difference. Your photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteFall is definitely my favorite season - beautiful photos!

ReplyDeleteWow. Those deep red leaves are gorgeous. I can't believe that you were late for changing colors in North Carolina. We still have plenty of color here in Ohio. Maybe because you were in the mountains. Here's Mine
ReplyDeletePumpkin Patch is everywhere and add colors to the season. It is cool today with snow in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteTime for hot cider and donuts.
