Apple Squares

3 c. chopped apples
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 c. raisins (optional)
Toss cut up apples , sugar and spices together.
Add sifted flour and soda. Combine oil, vanilla and eggs. Add to dry mix. Fold in raisins. Spread in 9 x 13 pan
Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Yummy and moist.

  2. I was thinking the same thing, I love anything with apples. This sounds so good that I can feel myself gaining weight just by reading about it! Yummy!!
