(Excerpt from an ARC)

I was picturing his face--a boy with floppy brown hair and bown eyes--when the Feed ended.

At first I didn't know what had happened. I didn't know where I was or why it was so dark. I knew only that the pain inside of me--the feeling that I was being drained from the inside out--had subsided, and now everything was numb. Maybe I no longer existed.

     I wasn't alone.
*Shiver* Creepy with a capital C! Yow!!

What say ye? Yea or nay to reading more?

  1. I would read it I think based on that opening paragraph (I love creepy!) but I'm not sure I would have picked it up in the first place. I'm not crazy about the cover with the girl's face being cut off. Probably a silly reason for not picking up a book though!

  2. Yay! I would read this one based on that paragraph alone, and I really can't wait to hear what you think of this one. Great opening paragraph today!

  3. I try to avoid creepy. So, no, I would not keep going. Gorgeous cover though.

  4. I love creepy...but that cover just does not look like my cuppa tea.
yes, I am shallow. What can I say?

  5. I am intrigued by that opening.

  6. I would definitely go on reading and that cover is absolutely awesome!

  7. Well, I love the author's name -- Brodi Ashton. Here's Mine

  8. I would have to find out more for sure!

  9. Sounds pretty cool and creepy can be good!

  10. I've been wanting to read this one! Sounds good and creepy. More my kind of book than yours! :D
