(Excerpt from an ARC)

I was picturing his face--a boy with floppy brown hair and bown eyes--when the Feed ended.

At first I didn't know what had happened. I didn't know where I was or why it was so dark. I knew only that the pain inside of me--the feeling that I was being drained from the inside out--had subsided, and now everything was numb. Maybe I no longer existed.

     I wasn't alone.

  1. I would read it I think based on that opening paragraph (I love creepy!) but I'm not sure I would have picked it up in the first place. I'm not crazy about the cover with the girl's face being cut off. Probably a silly reason for not picking up a book though!
