Saturday Snapshot

    Birds can be so funny! I never could figure out how they can be comfortable sleeping with their heads twisted around and their beak tucked under their wing.

    We have to cross a small bridge overlooking the lake in our neighborhood to get to our house. My German Shepherd Layla rides with me each morning to take my youngest to school and sometimes the ducks are sitting on top of the bridge rails. We stop sometimes and "talk" to the ducks :) Love them!

    So this is where all the ducks went! I haven't seen this many in one place since the summer. I bet that sleeping duck still had an eye on you. lol

    I love ducks, and when I was a child, my dad used to take me to the pond by the hospital to feed them bread, so seeing these photos brings back memories!
